• Residential Fellowships At The National Humanities Center, 2018 are open to candidates from all nationalities.
• Mid-career scholars, as well as senior scholars, are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates must have secured a Ph.D. in a humanities discipline from an accredited university.
• Applicants who earned their Ph.D. at least five years prior to applying for a fellowship are eligible to apply for Residential Fellowships At The National Humanities Center, 2018.
• The Residential Fellowships at the National Humanities Center are awarded to established scholars.
• Candidates who have published at least one single-author monograph or a significant body of peer-reviewed scholarship will be considered.
• The National Humanities Center does not fund post-docs.
• There is no age restriction for this fellowship.
• Senior candidates must be actively engaged in scholarly research.
• Applicants are required to fluent in written and spoken English.
