PhD Scholarship in Economic Evaluation of Paediatric Interventions for Respiratory Failure 2020

The student will join world-class researchers from both the Child Health Research Centre, UQ, and the School of Economics/Centre for Business and Economics of Health, UQ.  The HDR candidate will be supervised by Professor Brenda Gannon. The objective of this study is to determine the cost-effectiveness of interventions for respiratory failure across pediatric patients. Focusing on specific randomized controlled trials, the aims include establishing the cost-effectiveness of pediatric interventions for respiratory failure.

Eligibility for PhD Scholarship in Economic Evaluation of Paediatric Interventions for Respiratory Failure 2020:

• have completed some research experience
• have completed an approved university degree and
• can meet the English language requirements.

Value of PhD Scholarship in Economic Evaluation of Paediatric Interventions for Respiratory Failure 2020:

• Provides AUD 28,092 per annum (2020 rate), indexed annually.

• Applications will be judged on a competitive basis taking into account the applicant’s previous academic record, publication record, honors and awards, and employment history.
• The applicant should demonstrate academic achievement in the field/s of health Economics methodology and real-world economic evaluation analysis and the potential for scholastic success.
