International Merit Postgraduate Scholarship 2024

For a postgraduate program beginning in September 2024, each scholarship is a competitive award worth GBP 5,000 toward the initial tuition charge. All new overseas students who satisfy the requirements are eligible for the scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria for International Merit Postgraduate Scholarship:

• Students must hold an offer to study at the University of Sheffield.
• Students need to be classified as international fee-paying students.
• Students should be self-funded.
• Students must be enrolled in an eligible course with the university.

Selection Criteria:

• Applicant has given examples of achievements that represent excellence and initiative in educational, voluntary, or professional areas.
• Applicants have shown how these achievements relate to the course they have applied for at the University of Sheffield and connected that to their future ambitions.
• The applicant has a strong academic profile.

Application Process:

Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

Up to GBP 5,000 towards tuition fee.
