International Student Merit Scholarships are open to all F-1 and J-1 VISA students studying at the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV). The scholarship provides a waiver in tuition fees, which would decrease the tuition fee which equals resident tuition. Other costs are not included in the scholarship. 

Eligibility Criteria for International Student Merit Scholarship at University of Houston-Victoria 2025:

  • Applicants must identify as international students.
  • Applicants must remain enrolled full-time at the university.
  • Applicants who are returning or current students must fulfil the following criteria:
    • Must have two semesters left before graduation.
    • Have a CGPA of 2.5 or above for undergraduate students and a CGPA of 3.0 or above for graduate students
  • Applicants must have a demonstrated record of academic achievement.
