DRD Scholarships For Sub-Saharan Africans, 2017

DRD is offering a limited number of DAAD scholarships to nationals of Sub-Saharan African countries with outstanding academic record.
The scholarships are available in the MA in Development Studies, Master of Public Administration, MA in Development Management, the different Ph.D. options at the center.
The deadline for MA in Development Management program is 31 December 2017.

Eligibility

• The applicants for DRD Scholarships For Sub-Saharan Africans, 2017 should be nationals of Sub-Saharan African countries.
• The candidates should have a minimum of 70% in their last degree.
• The applicants should apply within 6 years of having completed their previous degree.
• The previous studies should be related to Development Studies or Public Administration.
• The candidates who are South African nationals should have an honors degree for Masters program and other students should have a 4-year undergraduate degree.
• The applicants should have English proficiency.

Documents required

• The candidates applying for DRD Scholarships For Sub-Saharan Africans, 2017 should submit a curriculum vitae, an application letter, academic transcripts, and academic certificates.
• The MA applicants should submit a one page paper about the 4 given topics and the doctoral appliacants should submit a 6 page proposal on the research.
• The candidates should also submit a signed reference.

Value of the scholarship
The DRD Scholarships For Sub-Saharan Africans, 2017 offers 650 Euro towards monthly allowance and travel allowances for Master candidates and 900 Euro plus travel allowances for PhD candidates.
