Pinnacle Foundation Scholarship 2023

Eligibility for the Pinnacle Foundation Scholarship:

• Applicants must be Australian nationals between the age of 16 to 24.
• Candidates must identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, or Queer.
• Candidates who have faced challenges in social or personal circumstances due to their sexual orientation, gender expression, or gender identity are encouraged to apply for the scholarship.
• Applicants who are serious about their higher education and committed to achieving a college degree will be considered.
• Applicants must have fairly good academic merit given their background and circumstances.
• Applicants should take pride in who they are and be dedicated to the LGBTIQ community.

Selection Criteria:

• Applicants must have the potential to make a positive social impact after being awarded the scholarship.
• Must be an active participant in extracurricular activities, not just limited to LGBTIQ causes. 
• Applicant must have a strong personality who is courageous, independent, and always determined to soar to great heights.
• Applicants will be selected on the level of their focus towards achieving their goals.
• Must showcase an enterprising attitude, creative flair, and leadership qualities.

Duration and Value:

• Scholarships are granted to students for a period of one year.
• The foundation offers $3000 for the first year of tertiary studies and $2000 for the following years. 
• For Year 12 students the scholarship amount is $2000.
• Sponsored and Named Scholarships amount is $5,000 for the first year of tertiary studies.
• $3000 for the subsequent years.
