The goal of the Research Scholarship Program is to promote collaboration between foreign scholars and researchers at Turkey's most esteemed universities and Turkish scholars. Applicants to this program may also be PhD holders or PhD students who are in the dissertation phase. The sole monthly stipend is covered by the Research Scholarship Program. Stipend every month: 8,000 TL. All year long, applications are accepted for the Research Scholarship Program. Admissions and assessments are completed at four distinct times.
The Türkiye Scholarship rules provide that if the Research Committee determines that an extension is necessary, the scholarship duration may be extended by one or two months.
