ESL Bursary for International Students (CGPS), 2022

TheUniversity of Saskatchewan has initiated ESL Bursary for International Students is a support program for international graduate students who would like to strengthen their English language skills by taking a course offered through The Language Centre.

Eligibility criteria for the ESL Bursary for International Students (CGPS), 2022:

• Open to all international students.
• Applicants must meet the minimum English proficiency requirements at the University of Saskatchewan.
• Applicants graduate supervisor or Graduate Chair must recommend that you take an ESL class.

ESL bursaries will be available for the following courses:

•     Academic Writing
•     Advanced Spoken English
•     Graduate Writing
•     Pronunciation

Benefits of the ESL Bursary for International Students (CGPS), 2022:

The ESL Bursary will only be available to successful applicants during the term applied and cannot be carried forward into another term.

Prerequisite: Successful applicants who receive an ESL Bursary will be expected to-

•  Pay a non-refundable administration fee of $25.00 to The Language Centre.
• Take a short placement test at The Language Centre to ensure you are placed in the appropriate level and class.
• Maintain full-time registration in your graduate program at the University of Saskatchewan throughout the duration of the ESL class.
• Attend the ESL class regularly and complete all assignments.
