  It's best to apply for the scholarship after you've officially joined your BTech program, as many scholarships require proof of admission or enrollment. However, we still recommend that you go ahead and apply this year if you can. Sometimes, scholarship deadlines are extended or early applications are considered for future intakes.   To qualify for this scholarship make sure you meet the following eligibility criteria:
  - Students need to be a domicile of Maharashtra.
  - Students should pursue a professional or non-professional course approved by the Director of Higher Education (DHE) at a government or government-aided university/college.
  - Students should have been admitted under the General or Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) category.
  - Students must have an annual family income of up to INR 8,00,000.
  If you fulfill the above eligibility criteria, go ahead and apply for the scholarship at the earliest.

  Yes, as the Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Shishyavrutti Yojna, Maharashtra 2024/25 is applicable for all Indian students and can be taken at Maharashtra, you can apply for this scholarship. But before applying please make sure that you meet the following eligibility criteria:
  - Students need to be a domicile of Maharashtra.
  - Students should pursue a professional or non-professional course approved by the Director of Higher Education (DHE) at a government or government-aided university/college.

The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Economic Backward Class (EBC) , Economically Weaker Section (EWS) who are admitted in Diploma / Degree / Postgraduate Technical and Professional courses through Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

Eligibility Criteria for the Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna 2025:

Be an Indian national.
Be a domicile of Maharashtra State.
Be a bonafide student admitted to a Professional or Technical course (Diploma / Graduation / Post Graduation) as per GR.
Deemed universities and private universities are not eligible.
Be admitted through Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
Not be receiving any other scholarship or stipend.
For the current academic year, only 2 children per family can avail the scheme.
The family/guardian's total annual income must not be more than 8 lakhs.
Have minimum 50% attendance in the previous semester (first-semester students exempted).
Should not have a gap of 2 or more years during the course duration.

Value of the Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna 2025:

Male students: 50% of tuition and exam fees.
Female students: 100% of tuition and exam fees.
Disbursed in two installments through the MahaDBT Portal into an Aadhar-seeded bank account.
