ARISE Scholarships Masters Or Doctoral Students In Africa, 2016

The Africa Regional International Staff/Student Exchange (ARISE) offers the scholarships to African for a master's or doctoral program.

Eligibility

• The applicants for ARISE Scholarships Masters or Doctoral Students in Africa, 2016 should be nationals of Africa or residents enrolled in the higher education at universities of consortium (Target group 1)
• The candidates should submit a recommendation letter with dean's or lecturer's sign.
• The applicants should be nationals of Africa or residents enrolled in higher education at the universities which are not the partner universities or should have received a degree from these institutions.
• The applicants should have knowledge of the language of the course.
• The ARISE Scholarships Masters or Doctoral Students in Africa, 2016 offers three types of scholarships, Sandwich Ph.D. mobilities, Academic and administrative staff mobilities, Exchange opportunities (Masters and PhD).

Selection criteria

• The applicants for ARISE Scholarships Masters or Doctoral Students in Africa, 2016 are assessed based on their academic merit, research plan, motivation, and learning plan.
• The candidates are evaluated based on equity considerations, mobility relevance for both the host university and the home university.

Value of the scholarship

• The applicants for masters get €600 towards subsistence allowance for maximum 24 months.
• The applicants for doctorate get €900 towards subsistence allowance for maximum 36 months and for Staff, €1000 will be given as subsistence allowance for maximum 6 months.
