Pio Iovenitti Engineering Excellence Scholarship 2024

To honor Associate Professor Pio Iovenitti's outstanding work and legacy, his family and former coworkers established this scholarship in his honor. For more than thirty years, Pio played a significant role in the Swinburne community, particularly in the Faculty of Engineering.  Pio represented Swinburne University's ideals while he was a student there. Pio was a dedicated, trustworthy, and college student who embodied the values of humility, hard effort, devotion, and study. He was also a respected mentor, team player, and effective leader who was highly regarded by his classmates and peers.

Eligibility for Pio Iovenitti Engineering Excellence Scholarship:

• Applicants can be Australian citizens or Australian Permanent Resident or International student 
• The candidate must be a Swinburne second-year student who plans to continue in Semester 1 of 2024. 
• The applicant has to be enrolled full-time in an on-campus Master of Engineering Science program.
• The applicant must have earned at least a minimum credit average from the first year and finished 100 credit points.
