International Student Retention Scholarship at Portland State University 2025

The International Student Retention Scholarship (ISRS) is offered by Portland State University (PSU), which offers partial tuition scholarships each year to several deserving students from countries worldwide. 

Eligibility Criteria of the International Student Retention Scholarship at Portland State University 2025:

Applicants must:

• Be an international student at Portland State University.
• Demonstrate financial need and have clear academic/professional goals.
• Maintain a minimum GPA: 2.75 for undergraduates, 3.0 for graduates.
• Complete required PSU terms: 3+ for undergraduates, 1+ for transfers/graduate students.
• Not be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
• Not already receive another fee remission or government-funded scholarship.

Application Process: 

• Submit an essay outlining academic/professional goals and financial need.
• Provide recommendation letters.
• Apply via PSU’s international scholarship application system.

Value of the International Student Retention Scholarship at Portland State University 2025:

Successful applicants will receive a scholarship amount of USD 1,500 per term, or the total tuition (whichever is less), for a maximum of 6 consecutive terms.
