Overview

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be US passport holders.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in one of the Participating Institutions.
  • Applicants must be due to graduate during the same academic year as the deadline or
  • Be a student who has graduated from one of those institutions within the past 12 months before the deadline.
  • Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree.
  • Applicants must exhibit superior academic standing.
  • Applicants in the sciences and engineering must exhibit a comprehensive background in laboratory experience, internships, or related professional work.
  • Applicants in mathematics must show substantial independent work or other projects.

Application Process:

  • All eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the scholarship.
  • The candidates must submit four academic letters of recommendation.
  • They must apply to the University of Cambridge.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates can avail of the following benefits:

  • Tuition,
  • Roundtrip airfare to the UK,
  • Visa fees and health surcharge,
  • The stipend is set 5% higher than the UK Research Council standard. 
  • Recipients are eligible to apply for a USD 4,000 special research grant.
