Overview

By offering funds to bring exceptional researchers to UWA to collaborate on research with a UWA host, this fellowship seeks to promote international research collaborations. Researchers in mid-career or senior roles with doctorates or similar training and experience are eligible to apply for Gledden Visiting Fellowships.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicant must hold a PhD degree.
  • The applicant may come from any nationality.
  • The applicant must have relevant experience in their research field.
  • The applicants can be mid-career or senior researchers.

Application Process:

  • Applications must be submitted by the nominated UWA Host through the Online Application Form, or
  • Download and complete the MS Word Application Form, then email it to the Institute of Advanced Studies at ias@uwa.edu.au.

Value of the Fellowships:

The successful candidates can avail of the following benefits:

  • Award of up to $25,000 for a maximum 16-week residency.
  • A round-trip economy class airfare (capped at $5,000),
  • Cost of Visa for travel to Australia,
  • Living allowance of AUD 1,250 per week, inclusive of accommodation expenses.
