- For the position of Bank of Montreal Visiting Scholar in Women's Studies for 2023–2024, the Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies at the University of Ottawa is currently accepting applications. This fund seeks to draw exceptionally talented academics who are interested in feminist, women's, and gender issues generally construed. Within the university's academic year, which runs from September to April, the visiting scholar's stay should last three (3) to six (6) months. A maximum of $8,000 will be given to the recipient, who can use it to help cover research and/or travel costs. Alternative-funding candidates will also be taken into consideration. The Visiting Scholar will be required to present their ongoing research project in conferences and/or seminars and to interact with the community of students and colleagues.
