Eligibility for Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowships:

Applicants Must:

Preference is Given to Applicants Who:

  • Are United States citizens (though non-U.S. citizens residing in the U.S. may also be considered).
  • Have limited prior public-interest or government experience in Washington, DC.
  • Have previous experience in public-interest activism or advocacy related to peace and security issues.

Application Process:

Applicants must submit a complete application package with all the required documents (CV, personal essay, policy essay, transcripts, reference letters) via the online application form.

Value of the scholarship:

Successful applicants will get $4,283/month as a salary, partial health insurance, travel expenses to Washington, DC, and $1,200 for professional development opportunities, such as attending conferences or courses.
