Merit Scholarships (for new and continuing students) at Monash University Malaysia 2024

Monash University Malaysia is offering scholarships to applicants for all undergraduate courses except Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Psychological Science, and Bachelor of Pharmacy.

Eligibility for the Merit Scholarships:

New students:

• Applicants should have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification or a senior secondary qualification accepted by the University an outstanding ATAR or equivalent.
• Candidates who have commenced their tertiary studies or transferring with credit exemptions or advanced standing will not be eligible for the scholarship.
• Candidates should accept the offer from Monash University and complete the Scholarship Acknowledgement Form to accept the scholarship.
• Only the candidates with full offers of admission will be considered for the scholarship.

Continuing students:

• A current Monash University Malaysia student who has earned 48 credit points after two semesters of study.
• have completed 8 units with an average score of 80% or higher.
• rank in the top 1% of students enrolled in the institution.
• PTPTN-sponsored scholarships and other forms of financial aid will not be applied for by students who are nominated for the Monash High Achiever Award (for continuing students).

Value of the Scholarship:

• The successful applicants of the Merit Scholarships will receive RM 5,000 per semester.
• The recipients should maintain at least 75% in at least 24 credit points of study in each semester and should not fail any unit in any semester for the continuation of the scholarship.

 Application:

• For New students, no application is required.
• Current students need to submit an application form
