The Manchester Master’s Bursary is offered by the University of Manchester to assist students from underrepresented groups in accessing postgraduate education.

Eligibility Criteria for Manchester Master’s Bursary at The University of Manchester 2026:

  • Applicants must be studying for an LLM, MA, MEd, MBA, MEnt, MPH, MPhil, MRes, MSc, MSc by Research, or MusM.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time one-year or part-time two-year course.
  • Applicant must be a home student paying tuition fees and have been in the UK for at least five years before starting the undergraduate course.
  • Applicant must be commencing the degree course in September 2026.
  • Applicant must not hold a master’s qualification or higher.
  • Applicant must have commenced the undergraduate course after September 2012.
  • Intercalating medical students taking a master’s course are eligible to apply.
