Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants of all nationalities can apply but are divided into two categories:
    • Partner Countries: non-EU countries except for Turkey, Macedonia, Serbia, Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland
    • Programme Countries: 28 EU member states + Turkey, Macedonia, Serbia, Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland
  • The applicants must have a higher education degree from :
    • Computational/Applied) Linguistics
    • (Foreign) Languages
    • Translation
    • Communication/Media
    • Book Studies / Library
    • Information Science or other relevant disciplines
  • The applicant must satisfy the program's language requirement.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the scholarship. The application should include the following components:

  • Motivation letter,
  • Certificate of HEI degree(s),
  • Transcript of academic records,
  • Language certificates,
  • Copy of the identity document.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded the following benefits:

  • EUR 1,400 per month towards travel expenses, visa and residence permit applications, and installation and living costs.
  • Participation costs for the EMJMD-EMLex. They include tuition fees, health insurance, library costs, administrative costs, and cultural events.

Collateral includes either: Immovable property – a house or a flat or land (or) liquid security – an FD, or LIC or shares or bonds. Agricultural lands are not accepted by any bank for education loan.
