William W. Davidson International Archaeology Scholarship at Kennesaw State University 2025

The William W. Davidson International Archaeology Scholarship is a component under the Kennesaw State University (KSU) Global Education-administered scholarship, which seeks to offer financial support to students enrolled in KSU's Department of Geography and Anthropology and are taking part in an international trip that includes an archaeological field school or hands-on archaeological experience abroad.

Eligibility criteria for the William W. Davidson International Archaeology Scholarship: 

• Enrolled in the Department of Geography and Anthropology in the Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
• The applicant can be either Second-year student, Junior or Senior.
• Majoring in Anthropology, with an interest in archaeology.
• Participating in an international trip that includes a hands-on archaeological experience.
• The applicant is required to submit an essay of 150-250 words, explaining their desire to take part in an international archaeological dig.
• Not renewable to the same student.
• Demonstration of financial need is required.
• After the students have returned from their international archaeological field school or experience, they are required to submit a 1-page report in one of the archaeological classes and also give a 10–15 minute presentation featuring images of the dig and key highlights from the trip.

Value of the Scholarship:

An amount of $1,000 is awarded to the student.
