University of Auckland High Performance Sports Scholarship 2026:

The University of Auckland High Performance Sports Scholarship recognises that talented students pursuing both academic and sporting goals may face significant barriers to tertiary education.   • For this scholarship, "first in family" to attend university means that no member of the applicant's immediate family, including parents and siblings, has completed a university qualification before the applicant's first year of study. Adoptive and step-parents and siblings are considered part of the family if they have lived with the applicant for the previous five or more years.
  • If a student enrols at another tertiary institution in New Zealand or overseas, the scholarship will be forfeited.
