Merit based scholarships at University of Huddersfield 2024

The University of Huddersfield offers merit-based scholarships to international students applying for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. These scholarships aim to recognize academic excellence and provide financial assistance to eligible students pursuing their studies at the university.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be international fee-paying students.
• Applying for a full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of Huddersfield.
• Fully self-funding their studies without receiving any other funding.
• For postgraduate scholarships, applicants must have achieved a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in their undergraduate degree and meet the English and academic entry requirements for their chosen course.
• Master’s by Research programs and Master’s with placement in the Huddersfield Business School are not eligible for these scholarships.

Value of the Scholarship :

Undergraduate Scholarships:

• Up to GBP 4,000 per year for students achieving AAB UK A-Level equivalent grades.
• Up to GBP 3,000 per year for students achieving ABB UK A-Level equivalent grades.
• Up to GBP 2,000 per year based on general entry requirements.

Postgraduate Taught Scholarships:

• Up to GBP 4,000 for students achieving First Class Honors equivalent.
• Up to GBP 3,000 for students achieving Upper Second Class Honors equivalent.
• Up to GBP 2,000 for students achieving Lower Second Class Honors equivalent (applicable for intakes in May and September 2024).

Application Process:

• No separate application is required. Applicants will automatically be considered if they meet the eligibility criteria.
