Donald A. Wehrung International Student Award 2023

The University of British Columbia is offering Donald A. Wehrung International Student Award In Canada, 2018 to International students for undergraduate study at UBC’s Vancouver campus or Okanagan campus. The students nominated by recognized international development agencies, secondary schools, and their affiliates, registered local or international charitable and not-for-profit organizations are eligible.

Eligibility

• The applicants for Donald A. Wehrung International Student Award In Canada, 2018 should be International students.
• The candidates should not be citizens or permanent residents of Canada.
• The candidates should be recently graduating or graduated from a recognized senior secondary school.
• The applicants should be applying for their first undergraduate degree.
• The candidates should have a minimum average of ‘A’ or equivalent and leadership potential.
• The applicants should be from a war-torn or politically unstable region of the world, from an economically disadvantaged region, and should achieve academic excellence, with no financial help from family or other sources either in their country or outside.

How to apply?

• A non-profit organization should not nominate another student from that same school for this award.
• The applicants for Donald A. Wehrung International Student Award In Canada, 2018 should submit a short nomination survey to inform that they are being nominated.
• The candidates should apply to an undergraduate degree at UBC.
• The nominating organization should e-mail first name, surname, and date of birth exactly as it will appear in the admission application for UBC undergraduate degree.
• The applicants should submit academic transcripts.
