The Order of Australia Association Foundation WAAPA Scholarship at Edith Cowan University 2023

The Order of Australia Association Foundation Scholarships have been established with the aim of recognizing, celebrating, and inspiring exceptional young Australian citizens who have the potential to become future leaders in the community. These scholarships are designed to support a student who is in their second year of a Bachelor's course at WAAPA and may face financial challenges that could hinder their academic progress, thus limiting their future contributions to Australia's benefit.

The Scholarship is valued at $40,000, which will be disbursed to the recipient in two installments of $20,000 each, during Semester 2 of 2023 and 2024. Additionally, the scholarship offers the unique opportunity for the awardee to form an ongoing mentorship with a distinguished member of The Order of Australia, who excels in the same field of study pursued by the recipient. This mentorship is meant to further nurture and guide the student's development and career prospects.

Eligibility Criteria for The Order of Australia Association Foundation WAAPA Scholarship:

• The student must be an Australian citizen.
• The candidate must be currently enrolled in the 2nd year of a Bachelor's course at WAAPA.
• The applicant must maintain an academic progression status of GREEN.
• The candidate must study full-time on campus with a workload of 60 credit points or the course equivalent.
• The student demonstrates financial hardship.
• The applicant must be in their 20's age-wise.
• They must have not received another scholarship exceeding $5000.

Application Process for The Order of Australia Association Foundation WAAPA Scholarship:

• Applicants are required to apply through the ECU Online Scholarship Application Portal within the designated application opening and closing dates.
• Applicants will need to submit a personal statement not exceeding 1000 words, addressing the following points:
