These Scholarships were established in 2014 and are funded by the Ockham Foundation.The main purpose of the Scholarships is to encourage and support academically excellent students undertaking postgraduate study in Statistics at the University of Auckland.The candidates must be enrolled and have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for enrolment in a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Statistics, Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Statistics,Master of Science (Statistics), Master of Arts (Statistics) or a Master of Science (Medical Statistics) at the University of Auckland.The Scholarships will be awarded by the University of Auckland Council upon the recommendation of a Selection Committee comprising the Associate Dean (Postgraduate) of the Faculty of Science (or nominee), the Head of Statistics (or nominee) and one representative of the Donor (appointed by sponsors or trustees).
