Merit Scholarships for EBC Students, Maharashtra 2026

Eligibility Criteria for Merit Scholarships for EBC Students:

Applicants must:

• Be a domicile of Maharashtra.
• Belong to the Economically Backward Class (EBC) category.
• Be a student of Class 11 or Class 12 (junior college level).
• Have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the SSC examination in the first attempt.

Value of Merit Scholarships for EBC Students:

Beneficial amount provided per month every year (for 10 months):

• The hosteler boys will receive a scholarship amount of INR 140 per month for 10 months that sums up to INR 1400.
•  The non-hosteler boys will receive INR 80 per month for 10 months that sums up to INR 800.
•  The hosteler girls will receive INR 160 per month for 10 months that sums up to INR 1600.
•  The non-hosteler girls will receive INR 100 per month for 10 months that sums up to INR 1000.

• Income certificate (Approved by Tahasildar)*
• SSC marksheeet.
• Previous Year Mark sheet. (For Renewal)
