Overview

Students enrolled at Karolinska Institutet are eligible to apply for an Erasmus+ Traineeship scholarship. This scholarship is available for a variety of purposes, including degree projects, traineeships at companies, training/research centers, universities, or other organizations located within an EU/EEA member state or an acceding country.

Eligibility for Karolinska Institute Erasmus+ Traineeship program:

  • Applicant must be a student of Karolinska Institutet.
  • Applicant can apply for an Erasmus+ scholarship for a traineeship in any of the 27 EU member states, the EFTA countries, Croatia and Turkey.
  • Complete the Traineeship before completion of the degree.
  • Have an agreement with a company to work as a trainee for 2 to 12 months.

Benefits:

  • The program offers approximately EUR 10.50 per day depending on the exchange rate of the euro and Swedish Krone.
  • 80% of the Scholarship is received when the contract is signed.
  • Another 20% of the Scholarship is received after the completion of the traineeship.
