The International Major Entrance Scholarships provides scholarships to outstanding students entering undergraduate programs at UBC. These scholarships are offered by the University of British Columbia.
Eligibility for International Major Entrance Scholarship:
- The applicants for International Major Entrance Scholarship should directly enter the secondary school and be new students at UBC.
- The candidates should be international students studying at UBC on a Canadian study permit (student visa).
- The changes to the applicant's citizenship will affect their IME eligibility.
- The scholarships can be renewed for up to three years.
Selection criteria:
- The candidates are expected to show excellent academic achievement, extracurricular and community involvement and intellectual promise.
