Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen Scholarships

A number of admission scholarships are available to local and non-local new undergraduate students who have shown exceptional academic or non-academic performance, such as athletic accomplishments, creativity, community service, and leadership, thanks to the kind support of friends and patrons. Each scholarship has a value ranging from RMB $10,000 to complete tuition reimbursement. A portion of the scholarships are reevaluated based on satisfactory academic success during the standard study year.

These are the Scholarships for International Students provided by the University:

Entry Scholarship for 4 years:

• Along with acceptance decisions, all overseas applicants will automatically be given consideration for the admission scholarship. The candidates' English proficiency, their academic standing in high school, and their interviews will all be taken into account. Candidates could be required to provide more supporting documentation. As long as recipients of entry scholarships are able to maintain a GPA of at least 3.0, the scholarship will be awarded for four years.
• Scholarship for 100% of Tuition
• 50%Tuition Fee Award
• 25% Tuition Assistance Program

On-going Academic Scholarship:

• Outstanding academic achievement during a student's time in college will earn them an Ongoing Academic Scholarship. The scholarships range in value from 20,000 RMB to 80,000 RMB for each academic year. Annual recipients of Ongoing Academic Scholarships are chosen based on their cumulative average of marks from the preceding academic year. The Registry Office and pertinent schools will supply the awards list. An additional application is not necessary.
• First Class: RMB 80,000
• Class II: RMB 40,000
• Class III: 20,000 RMB

English Language Mentor Bursary:

• Maximum Full Tuition Fee Bursaries will be awarded to English-speaking students who opt to participate in mentoring programs. Every award recipient should devote a few hours a week to serving as an English language mentor at the Center for Self-access Language Learning.
• Full Bursary for Tuition (8 hours a week)
• 50% Bursary for Tuition (four hours each week)

Work-study Programme:

Offices and administrative divisions are in great demand for student helpers. Student assistants are paid for their labor.
