Eligibility Criteria for First-Year Scholarships at New York Tech:

• Be a first-year student applying to New York Tech.
• U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents, or International students.
• Scholarship eligibility is based on GPA, high school average, and strength of application.
• Students who apply without SAT/ACT scores are still eligible.
• Transfer students with 24 or more college credits will be reviewed separately for Transfer Scholarships.

Value of First-Year Scholarships at New York Tech:

U.S. Citizens & Permanent Residents:

• GPA 4.0+ and High School Average 100+ → $31,000 – $42,000
• GPA 3.75–3.99 and High School Average 95–99.99 → $30,000 – $31,000
• GPA 3.5–3.74 and High School Average 90–94.99 → $28,000
• GPA 3.20–3.49 and High School Average 84–89.99 → $26,000
• GPA 3.0–3.19 and High School Average 80–83.99 → $22,000 – $24,000

International Students:

• GPA 4.0+ and High School Average 100+ → $31,000
• GPA 3.75–3.99 and High School Average 95–99.99 → $29,000
• GPA 3.5–3.74 and High School Average 90–94.99 → $26,000
• GPA 3.20–3.49 and High School Average 84–89.99 → $24,000
• GPA 3.0–3.19 and High School Average 80–83.99 → $20,000

Application Process:

• Considered automatically based on the admissions application.
• Evaluated for GPA, high school average, and overall application strength.
• No separate application is required for first-year merit scholarships.
