Objective:
Support students who undertake master's studies with an essay or a thesis in actuarial science at the Faculty of Science and Engineering of Université Laval.
Eligibility for the Actuarial Chair Master's Attraction scholarship:
Applicants must be registered full-time (12 credits or more per semester) or be deemed full-time in the master's degree in actuarial science in the fall and winter semesters.
Evaluation Criteria:
The School of Actuarial Scholarship Selection Committee will evaluate the proposal giving a score and a comment for each of the following two criteria and make an overall recommendation:
- Excellence of academic record.
- Aptitude of the candidate in research and innovation.
Renewal conditions:
Preparatory education must be given priority if necessary, the cumulative average must be 2.67 or more for the master's degree with essay and 3 and more for the master's degree with thesis.
