Mildred Dean Memorial Scholarship

The Mildred Dean Memorial Scholarship was established in 2016 with the proceeds of the Estate of Henry Dean James and a gift from Nikki Rochester. This fund is named in memory of Mildred Dean, the mother of Henry James.

Eligibility criteria for Mildred Dean Memorial Scholarship:

Be a student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).
Demonstrate a commitment to the success of underrepresented minorities and/or women (preferred).

Value of the Mildred Dean Memorial Scholarship:

The scholarship offers a prize of $1,300 to the selected recipient.
