Eligibility for Heart Foundation PostDoc Fellowship:

  • The scholarship is open to applicants from Australia and New Zealand.
  • The applicant will be considered the Chief Investigator A (CIA) on the project.
  • The applicant must be based in Australia for at least 80% of the funding period.
  • The candidates applying should be in their first 3 years post-awarding of their Ph.D. 
  • The applicant must be no more than 3 years post PhD before the application closing date.
  • The background of the candidate should be in subject areas related to cardiovascular health research, clinical, biomedical, public health, and health service delivery.
