Eligibility Criteria for McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellowships at The University of Melbourne 2026:

Applicants must:

Have graduated, or met requirements to graduate, with a PhD in a discipline relevant to their fellowship proposal from any university worldwide, including the University of Melbourne.
Have completed their PhD no earlier than 1 April 2023.
Be current academic staff at the University of Melbourne (optional) with casual, fixed-term, or continuing research contingent (CRC) appointment, if applicable.
Identify an Academic Contact at the University of Melbourne who will endorse the application and provide mentoring if awarded.
For applicants outside the standard eligibility, an Eligibility Exemption Request (EER) can be submitted via the Expression of Interest (EOI) form.

Value of McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellowships at The University of Melbourne 2026:

Salary at Academic Level A6 (University Salary Band) including on-costs and superannuation.
Additional research project allocation of up to $25,000 over the term of the fellowship.
