Eligibility Criteria for McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellowships at The University of Melbourne 2026:

  • Have completed their PhD no earlier than 1 April 2023.
  • Be current academic staff at the University of Melbourne (optional) with casual, fixed-term, or continuing research contingent (CRC) appointment, if applicable.
  • Identify an Academic Contact at the University of Melbourne who will endorse the application and provide mentoring if awarded.
  • For applicants outside the standard eligibility, an Eligibility Exemption Request (EER) can be submitted via the Expression of Interest (EOI) form.
