Eligibility Criteria for Conference Travel Grants:

Applicants must:

  • Be a master’s or doctoral student enrolled in a degree program.
  • Be registered for the term in which the conference takes place and have paid required fees.
  • Be in good academic standing.
  • Be presenting a paper or poster at the conference (for conference travel funding).
  • Obtain approval from a faculty advisor (or Associate Dean for professional development requests).
  • Note: Students on filing fee status and those in professional/self-sustaining programs are not eligible.

Value of Conference Travel Grants:

  • Up to USD $600 for conferences within California
  • Up to USD $900 for conferences within North America (including Canada and Mexico)
  • Up to USD $1,500 for conferences outside North America
