Arryman Scholarship 2026

ISRSF Scholarship to SOAS University of London 2026
Recipients of SOAS Arryman Scholarships will receive support for studies leading to a doctoral degree in economics, economic policy, development economics, or international development studies.

Eligibility criteria -

• The applicant must be an Indonesian citizen, under 35 years old, and committed to returning to Indonesia as a full-time scholar after completing the PhD.
• They must hold a bachelor’s degree (Strata 1) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
• English Language:
  • IELTS Academic / for UKVI / Indicator: minimum Score 5.0 overall, with 5.0 in all sub-scores
  • PTE Academic: minimum 50 overall, with 50 in all sub-scores; or
  • TOEFL iBT: minimum 87 overall, with at least 20 in all sub-scores ('My Best Scores' not accepted).
  • Once selected by ISRSF, SOAS may require additional evidence of English proficiency. Full details: SOAS English Language Requirements

Application process -

• Complete an online application form, including an academic or professional publication essay and two recommendations.

Scholarship conditions - 

• Having been selected by ISRSF, candidates sign an agreement with ISRSF stipulating scholarship conditions

• Selected candidates be officially admitted by the Economics Department of SOAS University of London.

Award - Full tuition fees, Stipend (housing and living allowance), One round-trip air ticket Jakarta-London-Jakarta, Visa fees, Health insurance, Postdoc at the Institutes for Advanced Research (IFAR Consortium) upon graduation
