Overview
The President's Scholarship is Southeast's most prestigious scholarship and is awarded annually to five students who represent the top of all applicants to Southeast. Finalists will be invited to interview in the spring. The finalists and winners of the award will receive a USD 1,500 study-abroad stipend.
Eligibility Criteria
- Test optional with 3.9 cumulative high school GPA OR 3.75 cumulative high school GPA with 31 ACT/1390 SAT.
- It is available to beginning freshmen.
- May be combined with the Endowed/Sponsored Scholarships.
Application Process:
- Interested candidates must submit an online application.
- Applicants must submit official high school transcripts and ACT/SAT scores.
- Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation.
Value of the Scholarship:
- The scholarship is valued at USD 10,000. (USD 7,000 for tuition and fees. USD 3,000 for residence hall fees)
- The finalists will receive a USD 2,000 finalist scholarship in addition to their Copper Dome and Residence Life Leadership awards.
- Finalists and five recipients will also receive a USD 1,500 study-abroad stipend.
- Its value increases annually for students who meet renewal requirements for a possible total of $43,000 over four years.
