The Southern Cross University Resilience Merit Scholarship will support high-achieving students overcoming financial or educational barriers.
Eligibility requirement for Southern Cross University Resilience Merit Scholarship 2026:
- Must be commencing a full-time Bachelor’s degree at Southern Cross University in Term 1 in a Commonwealth Supported Place.
- Must have achieved a minimum ATAR (or IB equivalent) of 80 or above in Year 12 (2026).
- Must demonstrate educational and/or financial disadvantage (e.g., Equity Scholarship application, Inclusion Support registration, or hardship responses).
- Must not be in receipt of another Southern Cross University-funded scholarship.
Value of the scholarship:
A AUD 36,000 is awarded to support a full-time student
Application Process:
- Apply for admission to a full-time Bachelor’s degree at Southern Cross University in a Commonwealth Supported Place (Term 1 intake).
- Submit a scholarship application demonstrating educational and/or financial disadvantage (or have an Equity Scholarship application, Inclusion Support registration, or hardship responses on file).
- Ensure you meet the academic requirement of a minimum ATAR (or IB equivalent) of 80 and above.
- Your application will be assessed based on ATAR and level of disadvantage, and you must not be receiving another Southern Cross University-funded scholarship.

Selection will be based on consideration of the Degree of disadvantage faced by the student.
