Southern Cross University Resilience Merit Scholarship believes in fostering the next generation of brilliant minds and bold leaders to reach their full potential. The Southern Cross University Resilience Merit Scholarship will support high-achieving students overcoming financial or educational barriers.

Eligibility requirement for Southern Cross University Resilience Merit Scholarship 2026:

  • Must be commencing a full-time Bachelor’s degree at Southern Cross University in Term 1 in a Commonwealth Supported Place.
  • Must have achieved a minimum ATAR (or IB equivalent) of 80 or above in Year 12 (2026).
  • Must demonstrate educational and/or financial disadvantage (e.g., Equity Scholarship application, Inclusion Support registration, or hardship responses).
  • Must not be in receipt of another Southern Cross University-funded scholarship.

Value of the scholarship:

A AUD 36,000 is awarded to support a full-time student

Application Process:

  • Apply for admission to a full-time Bachelor’s degree at Southern Cross University in a Commonwealth Supported Place (Term 1 intake).
  • Submit a scholarship application demonstrating educational and/or financial disadvantage (or have an Equity Scholarship application, Inclusion Support registration, or hardship responses on file).
  • Ensure you meet the academic requirement of a minimum ATAR (or IB equivalent) of 80 and above.
  • Your application will be assessed based on ATAR and level of disadvantage, and you must not be receiving another Southern Cross University-funded scholarship.

Selection will be based on consideration of the Degree of disadvantage faced by the student.
