Study Abroad Community Service Scholarships at Southern Cross University 2026

Introduction: 

The Study Abroad Community Service Scholarships are for international students enrolled in a 3-unit or 4-unit Study Abroad course who want to give back. This scholarship rewards study abroad students with a creative and socially aware idea for giving back.

Eligibility requirement for Study Abroad Community Service Scholarships at Southern Cross University :

• Must be an international student holding an offer for a 3-unit or 4-unit Study Abroad course at Southern Cross University.
• Must be commencing in one of the eligible 2026 intakes:Term 1 (March)
  Term 3 (July)
  Term 4 (August)
• Must submit a brief (maximum 250-word) proposal outlining a self-directed community service project during their study period.
• Must demonstrate eligibility through an offer-holder status and present a creative, original, and engaging community initiative for assessment.

Value of the scholarship:

A AUD 6,930 award is available to support a full-time student

Application Process:

• Apply online for the scholarship before the relevant closing date for your intake (2 January, 1 May, or 26 June 2026).
• Ensure you hold an offer for a 3-unit or 4-unit Study Abroad course at Southern Cross University for Term 1, Term 3, or Term 4 (2026).
• Submit a brief proposal (maximum 250 words) outlining a self-directed community service project you plan to undertake during your studies.
• Applications will be reviewed by the selection committee, and successful applicants will be notified via email after assessment.
