Student Opportunities Fund at Southern Cross University 2026

Introduction: 

Southern Cross University is committed to helping provide exceptional students with exceptional opportunities to broaden their professional networks and opportunities.The Southern Cross Student Opportunities Fund will provide students with the opportunity to apply for a scholarship and help subsidise the cost of travel, accommodation and necessary activities to help them realise their full professional potential.

Eligibility requirement for Student Opportunities Fund at Southern Cross University:

• Submit a detailed proposal dossier including project analysis, goals, timelines, supporting documents, and a comprehensive budget for expenses.
• Provide evidence that the opportunity or placement is almost confirmed, along with all related correspondence and contextual information.
• Demonstrate how the project or opportunity will contribute to the university and broader community, and explain its purpose and impact.
• Agree to submit progress reports, complete the project before graduation, and collaborate with Southern Cross University for promotional and impact-story activities.

Value of the scholarship:

A AUD 7,500 is awarded to support a full-time student

Application Process:

• Prepare and submit a proposal dossier outlining your project, goals, timelines, supporting evidence, and alignment with your coursework.
• Include all correspondence and contextual information showing that the opportunity or placement is close to confirmation.
• Provide a comprehensive budget covering expected and incurred costs such as accommodation and transport.
• Agree to complete progress reports, submit a final report after the project, and allow Southern Cross University to use your story for promotional purposes.
