Study Abroad Storytelling Scholarship at Southern Cross University 2026

Introduction: 

This Scholarship is funded jointly through the Northern Rivers Community Foundation and Southern Cross University and has been awarded to one or two recipients every year since 2009.

Eligibility requirement Study Abroad Storytelling Scholarship at Southern Cross University 2026:

• Must be an international Study Abroad student approved by their home institution and assessed as eligible by the SCU Admissions team.
• Must study on a valid student visa and maintain eligibility by passing all enrolled units each term.
• Applicants cannot be Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents and must be from an eligible country approved by SCU.
• Must accept the Study Abroad offer by 30 June 2026 and agree to participate in at least two storytelling or ambassador activities during their study abroad experience.

Value of the scholarship:

A AUD 6,930 tution scholaarship award is available to support a full-time student

Application Process:

• Apply for a Study Abroad program at Southern Cross University and obtain approval from your home institution.
• Submit your admission application to SCU, where eligibility will be assessed by the SCU Admissions team.
• Accept your Study Abroad offer by 30 June 2026 to secure scholarship eligibility (offers are made on a first come, first served basis).
• Agree to participate in at least two storytelling or ambassador activities, such as Social Media Storyteller, Mixed Media Storyteller, or Storyteller Ambassador programs.
