Postdoctoral Research Fellowship In Neuroscience/Neuroinformatics

One position as postdoctoral fellow is available at the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Department of Molecular Medicine, for two years with possibility for extension. The Institute of Basic Medical Sciences consists of academic departments and units that pursue research and education within basic medical science. The institute has approximately 340 employees and is located in the Domus Medica. The position is associated with the Neural Systems Laboratory of professor Jan G. Bjaalie on an EU-JPND project aiming to map the brain wide distribution of pathogenic protein aggregates in genetic disease models and should be filled as soon as possible. The Neural Systems Laboratory employs computational methods, neuroimaging, and neuroinformatics to develop and implement new technologies for analysis of brain architecture, connectivity, and gene and molecular distributions at the level of regions and whole brain.
