These Scholarships are funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) Training Centre for Future Leaders in Quantum Computing (FLiQC), in partnership with Sydney Quantum Academy (SQA).
Eligibility for Future Leaders in Quantum Computing PhD Scholarship UTS 2026:
- Be a domestic or international student.
- Apply for or be enrolled full-time in a PhD at a FLiQC partner university (University of Sydney, UNSW, UTS, Macquarie University, or University of Western Australia).
- Conduct research supervised by a FLiQC Chief Investigator in quantum computing (devices, architectures, or algorithms).
- Hold a relevant undergraduate degree (e.g. science, mathematics, computer science, physics, engineering, chemistry, materials science, or as approved).
- Not hold full-time employment or conflicting intellectual property obligations during the scholarship.
- Complete the required Student Deed Poll.
- Not hold another Commonwealth-supported award concurrently.
- Commit to industry engagement as a core PhD requirement.
Selection process:
This Scholarship supports outstanding PhD candidates to undertake quantum computing research at a FLiQC partner university. Selection is competitive and conducted by FLiQC academics.
