Yvon Martineau Fund Scholarship - Doctorate 2024

Objective:

The Yvon Martineau Fund scholarship is aimed at a postgraduate law student whose research subject (thesis) relates to economic law.

Eligibility for the Yvon Martineau Fund Scholarship - Doctorate:

• Applicants must have full-time registration (12 credits) at the time of receiving the scholarship (fall 2023), or have recognition of this status according to Financial Aid for Studies.
• If registering part-time (6 to 11 credits), people recognized as student parents under the terms of the Policy relating to student parents of Université Laval may be eligible for this competition. 
• Candidates must carry out doctoral studies in economic law.

Evaluation Criteria:

• The quality of the academic file
• The quality of the research project
• The evaluation of the research director
• Research and writing skills as evidenced by the candidate's scientific publications
• The ability to meet the proposed schedule
• Involvement (or investment potential) in the CÉDÉ.

Documents required:

• A letter of approximately one and a half pages on the research subject, its interest as well as the work schedule
• A letter of recommendation from a person other than the research director
• The final transcript for the master’s degree
• The most recent doctoral transcript
• The resume
• The list of funding sources was already obtained during the last school year.
