The Janice Klumpp Award was established through a donation from John Klumpp in memory of his daughter, Janice Klumpp, who served on the staff of The University of Western Australia (UWA) from 1968 to 1984.

Eligibility requirements for the Friends of UWA Albany Verna Rowbotham Scholarship at the University of Western Australia:

Have completed at least 36 points towards an undergraduate degree course.
Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program.
Be studying at the UWA Albany campus and demonstrate strong academic achievement.
