The C. and P. Strano Memorial Scholarship was established by bequest from Cavaliere Alfredo Strano, in memory of his parents who, as migrants to Australia, maintained a strong sense of identity with their country of birth and their adopted homeland.

Eligibility requirements for the C. and P. Strano Memorial Scholarship in Italian Language at the University of Western Australia:

Have successfully completed Year 12 Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) Italian in the year prior to commencing university.
Have applied for admission to an undergraduate degree course at the University of Western Australia.

Value of the scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 3,000.
