Jean Rogerson Undergraduate Scholarship

The Jean Rogerson Undergraduate Scholarship was established through a bequest from the late Ethel Jean Rogerson to the University of Western Australia (UWA). The scholarship aims to encourage and support high-achieving Year 12 students commencing undergraduate studies in selected humanities and social science disciplines.

Eligibility criteria for the Jean Rogerson Undergraduate Scholarship:

  • Applicants must be domestic students.
  • Applicants must be commencing students at The University of Western Australia.
  • In the year before commencing study at the University, applicants must have completed the requirements for the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) or an equivalent qualification recognised by the University.
  • Applicants must have either accepted an Early Offer to The University of Western Australia, or applied through TISC, nominating a UWA course as their first preference in the first round of offers, and received an offer.
  • Applicants must have received an offer for either Bachelor of Philosophy, Politics and Economics, Bachelor of Human Rights or Bachelor of Arts.
  • Applicants must demonstrate high academic achievement.
