Eligibility Criteria for Dean of Engineering Doctoral Perseverance Award:

Applicants must:

Be registered full-time or part-time in a doctoral program within the Faculty of Engineering
Have successfully completed their comprehensive examination
Be on track to complete their doctoral degree within one year of applying
Demonstrate perseverance and resilience in overcoming personal or systemic barriers during their PhD studies
Show commitment to academic growth despite challenges affecting their progress
Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate a positive impact on peers or the wider community through their experiences and achievements.

Value of Dean of Engineering Doctoral Perseverance Award:

One award valued at CAD $1,000 is presented annually.
