The objective of The Commonwealth Scholarship at NUS 2024 is to support and encourage students with excellent academic merit and who possess an outgoing personality, to enrol to study at University.
Eligibility for The Commonwealth Scholarship at NUS 2024:
- The Commonwealth Scholarship at NUS 2024 is open to nationals from any Commonwealth country except for Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.
- All the program-specific requirements must be met.
- have graduated with an undergraduate degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division)/Honours (Distinction) or equivalent.
- at the time of award of the Scholarship, must have been offered admission to a full-time graduate research programme at NUS.
- The student must be eligible for MOE Subsidy1
Value of The Commonwealth Scholarship at NUS 2024:
- The successful applicants of The Commonwealth Scholarship at NUS 2024 will receive the scholarship as follows-
- A monthly stipend of up to $2,700
- Tuition fees
- An additional stipend of up to $500 per month upon passing the PhD Qualifying Examination
Deadline for The Commonwealth Scholarship at NUS 2024:
- Successful applicants will be informed of the outcome of their applications sometime in May (for admission in August) or October (for admission in January). Successful applicants are required to sign a letter of undertaking agreeing to observe the terms and conditions for the award of the Scholarship.
