The objective of the Commonwealth Scholarship at NUS is to support and encourage students with excellent academic merit and who possess an outgoing personality, to enrol to study at the University.
Eligibility Criteria for Commonwealth Scholarship at NUS 2025:
- Applicants must be nationals from any Commonwealth country except for Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.
- Applicants must have graduated with an undergraduate degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division)/Honours (Distinction) or equivalent.
- Applicants must surpass all the program-specific requirements.
- Applicants must be eligible for the MOE Subsidy1.

Value of the Scholarship:
The successful applicants will receive the following benefits:
- A monthly stipend of up to $2,700
- Tuition fees
- An additional stipend of up to $500 per month upon passing the PhD Qualifying Examination
