University of Ottawa Ph.D. Studentship in Gut Microbiology, 2017 is open to highly motivated and qualified Ph.D. graduate students who wish to work on the project titled “Modulation of human gut microbiota using psychobiotics”.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants of University of Ottawa Ph.D. Studentship in Gut Microbiology, 2017 must be well motivated international and Canadian students.
- Applicants are required to have an M.Sc. degree in environmental microbiology/microbial ecology or a relevant field.
- Candidates applying for University of Ottawa Ph.D. Studentship in Gut Microbiology, 2017 should possess experience with and exposure to basic microbiology and molecular biology techniques.
- Candidates with experience in standard molecular methods, and fermentation, microbe isolation and identification will be given preference.
